Dr Graham Willett is a teacher and researcher in the history of gay and lesbian political activism in Australia and an honorary fellow at the University of Melbourne. He is a long-term committee member of the Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives.

W(Wandi): 1980s was a relatively quiet age for the queer movements, especially on campus. You mentioned about the queer activists were busy against AIDS. Were there other reasons attributing to the less active queer community on campus?
